Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is an Indian television drama-series that airs on STAR Plus. The series premiered on January 12, 2009, and airs every Monday – Friday at 9:30pm IST. The story is based on the concept of marriages in India i.e. Arranged marriage and Love marriage in the Indian culture, which portrays how the two unknown (Naitik, Akshara) and two known (Varsha and Shaurya) individuals get tied for a lifetime by the knot of holy matrimony by their elders or with the blessings of their elders. The show has made Naitik, Akshara, Varsha and Shaurya household names.

Present plot: Nandhini starts loving Mohit, he loves her too but both hesitate to accept. Akshara facing the jealousy of her Mom-in-law over getting more importance from Naitik and Varsha jealous of Lavanya(model who has come to shoot for Shaurya’s hotel Ad).

Pavitra Rishta is the story of Archana, who is not highly-educated but handles the entire house work impeccably. Though every one is dependant on her no one really values her importance, except her brother and mother.
Her mother has a sole aim of getting a good, well-educated boy drawing a good salary for Archana. Because of wish, Archana’s marriage plans have always been full of obstacles.
Simultaneously, runs the story of Manav, a garage owner, who gets besotted by Archana at first sight.
Destiny and circumstances make his marriage proposal reach Archana but to be accepted he has to lie about his credentials, which because of unavoidable situations he does.
