Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani… Jhansi Ki Rani is a historic television series on Zee TV created by Contiloe Telefilms. As the title suggests, the story is based on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai and her fight for freedom. The series premiered on August 4, 2009.
It is a historical show that is about Rani Lakshmi Bai and her life. The show will start with a girl of 8 years old who will essay the role of the younger version on Rani Lakshmi Bai. The focus will initially be on the childhood story of the Queen and will later on traverse her journey ahead.
