Star Plus launches Maryada serial on the same date of Pyaar Ki Ye Ek Kahani and Saas Bina Sasural. Maryaada (code of conduct or basic rules of living life in a mannered way) talks about real incidents of our societies. The serial tries to expose the status of women in our present society.

Maryaada is not a new name in television industry. TV Asia has already introduced a TV serial on the same name – “Maryada…of an Indian family”. Now, the serial is introduced as – “Maryaada…Lekin Kab Tak?” The serial also talks about the situation of women and their anger. Star Plus has launched Maryaada on the concept of “Rishta Wahi, Soch Nayi”. Masterchef India registration was announced officially on Star Plus TV Channel. The registration was open for common man. Interested people had to fill an entry form to participate in Masterchef India TV Show through the official website of Star Plus. Registration in Master Chef India was open from SMS also. Interested contestants had to send an SMS to participate in this Show. MasterChef India 2010 TV Show registration is closed now.

Master Chef India Audition:

Eligible contestants, who had registered for Master Chef India, called for audition. Master Chef India audition venues and dates confirmed officially in an announcement on Star Plus. Master Chef India audition was organized in 6 cities in India – Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Indore, Jaipur and Ahmedabad.

Masterchef India Format:

Masterchef India format is almost similar to Masterchef 2010 of its original version. Interested contestants register to participate in the audition round. Top 100 contestants are chosen for “Apron” round. Finally, top 40 contestants are chosen for the competition in this Show.

Masterchef India winner announced in the grand finale of the Show. Winner of the Show is awarded by Rs. 1 crore. Winner of Masterchef India gets a chance to host a cookery program on Star TV. The Show releases a cook book also of MasterChef India winner.

Top 100 contestants of Masterchef India get a chance to cook an ultimate recipe in 60 minutes. They get 5 minutes to present the dishes to the judges.
